Drone Club is our engaging, structured after-school program designed to make STEM learning both fun and convenient for families. Running from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm over a 7-week term, Drone Club provides the added benefit of a later pick-up time for parents.

Our Drone club offers a unique and exciting blend of drone flying and educational enrichment, designed for participants of all ages!
Through hands-on, interactive lessons, you’ll dive into the world of coding and artificial intelligence.
YOU WILL LEARN:
Drone Safety under CASA Rules:
Learn safe drone flying practices in Australia according to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations. Receive a CASA certificate of completion, acknowledging your commitment to responsible drone usage. Basic or Intermediate Coding Principles: Master block coding to control and navigate drones. We can move into scripting if you feel ready. Mathematical Concepts: Engage with fundamental mathematics, including multiplication, geometry, and coordinates through practical drone applications. Spatial Science and Problem-Solving: Develop critical thinking skills with engaging drone missions. Workshop Highlights:
Engaging Lessons:
Experience dynamic, real-world applications of coding, as you navigate drones and accomplish specific tasks. Interactive Challenges: Tackle challenges that involve plotting courses, understanding angles, and creating your own drone light shows for a hands-on learning experience. Mini-Drone Light Show: To inspire further learning, conclude the term with a dazzling mini-drone light show prepared by Squadrone. Inclusive Learning Environment: Our workshops cater to all skill levels, ensuring a rewarding experience for everyone.
