What They’ll Do and Learn:
JavaScript Programming with Sphero BOLT: Students will learn the basics of JavaScript programming by creating an interactive map of a miniature New Year Celebration Event site. They’ll code Sphero BOLT robots to navigate, interact with attractions, and even create personalised event experiences using sensor-based activities.
Drone Flying & Python Programming: Participants will get hands-on experience flying Tello drones while mastering Python programming. They’ll learn to control the drone, perform advanced maneuvers, and design custom flight missions, all while understanding the principles of flight control and asynchronous commands.
(8.45 – 9am drop off and 3.30 – 3.45pm pick up)
During this 2-day program, your child will:

2. Get an introduction to coding for drones.
3. Experience hands-on flying and fun drone challenges.
4. Understand the flight control systems and fundamentals of drone light show programming.
5. Witness an exciting mini drone light show demonstration.
6. Participate in group activities and interactive sessions.

Location: UWA, 1 Hackett Dr., Crawley WA 6009 (Venue details and instructions will be sent to parents before program starts)
Cost: $285 (2 days, includes booking fee & teaching materials)
Year Group: Year 2 to Year 5 (no coding background required for this program)
